What is Plano Whiskey Society?

Plano Whiskey Society is a closed membership club that builds real-world connections between members through special events, member meet-ups, and Whiskey education opportunities.Examples of PWS events include:
- Behind the scenes Distillery tours
- Curated tasting experiences
- Palate Development and sensory training

Benefits of Membership

  • Once a month bottle shares (food provided)

  • Monthly in-person Whiskey events (e.g. Distillery tours, classes, palate development training)

  • A community of other local whiskey enthusiasts where you can learn, share, and discuss your favorite pours

  • Financial transparency: All members can view club financial records by request.

Membership Details

There are two tiers to Plano Whiskey Society Membership:
- Social membership (access to bottle shares): $150/year
- Full membership (access to all events): $300/yearThe membership year is February to January.

PWS is also a state registered non-profit with all membership dues going directly to member events. Admins and club leaders are not financially compensated for their roles.

Membership Limit

To maintain group integrity and member relationships Plano Whiskey Society is limited to 100 members.Once the member limit is reached prospective new members can join a waitlist.

  • If your application is successful, a member of the PWS admin team will reach out and the $300 per annum membership fee will be due
